 The design characteristics of both the stem axis and the center of the butterfly plate also differed from the center of the body. The double eccentric effect causes the valve to turn, the oily plate can exit the valve seat quickly, which significantly eliminates unnecessary excessive compression of the disc and valve seat, scratches, reduces opening resistance, reduces wear and increases the service life of the valve seat, significantly reduces scraping and at the same time the metal seat of the throttle valve with The double eccentric can also be used to improve throttle operation in high temperature conditions. But because of its position, the sealing principle is to create a sealing structure, namely the oil plate and the sealing surface of the valve seat for internal contact, through the extrusion seat of the disc, caused by elastic deformation, creating a sealing effect, so the requirements for the closed position are very high (especially for the metal seat), the ability to withstand low pressure. This is why people think that a traditional butterfly valve cannot withstand high pressure and a large number of leaks.
